Sea Fishing Locations along the East Coast of of England

The beautiful county of Suffolk is bordered by Essex to the south and Norfolk to the North. The county is perhaps not synonymous with shore angling but has a large number of fantastic fishing options. With the large coastal towns of Lowestoft and Felixstowe Suffolk has a huge amount of history and played an important role in the fishing industries history in Briton.

Norfolk: Famed for the “Broads” Norfolk is a county that has long been popular with fisherman and boatmen alike. With many miles of coastline and famous towns such as Cromer and Great Yarmouth Norfolk is a wonderful county to visit. For the shore angler you are spoiled for choice with stunning sand and shingle beaches as well as harbours and estuaries.

Lincolnshire: Is the county with one of the longest coastlines in the UK. With large coastal towns such as Skegness and Grimsby fishing has long been at the heart of the county. Local beaches are famed for their smoothhound fishing in the summer months with good bags of cod common during the cooler months. Despite being a county I have done a limited amount of fishing it has long been held in high regard by those who fish it regularly.
