Suffolk

The beautiful county of Suffolk is bordered by Essex to the south and Norfolk to the North. The county is perhaps not synonymous with shore angling but has a large number of fantastic fishing options. With the large coastal towns of Lowestoft and Felixstowe Suffolk has a huge amount of history and played an important role in the fishing industries history in Briton.

As with every county I have handpicked the areas that offer the biggest variety of fishing options, whilst being close to large towns for access and convenience,these include;

Felixstowe
is a coastal town in the county of Suffolk. It is famous for being the largest container port in the United Kingdom due to its easy access to the North Sea. Felixstowe is well positioned close to a number of fantastic sea fishing locations. We have listed a few of the better known locations in the area.

Lowestoft:
is the most Easterly town in the United Kingdom. It is a popular tourist spot with families and attracts multiple visitors each year. Lowestoft also offers the angler a number of fantastic shore fishing marks with a wide variety of species throughout the year.

Southwold: is only a very small yet charming town on the Suffolk coast. The town is famous for its beautiful pier and numerous beach huts. Close to the mouth of the River Blyth Southwold is close to a number of brilliant sea fishing locations and offers decent sport throughout the year.
