Sea Fishing Locations in the South of England

Dorset: Is one of England’s most scenic and beautiful counties and also offers some brilliant fishing locations for all anglers of all abilities. Whether it be the jaw dropping cliffs, beautiful sandy beaches or hidden harbours Dorset has the fishing for you. As with every county I have handpicked the areas that offer the biggest variety of fishing options, whilst being close to large towns for access and convenience

Hampshire: Hampshire is the home of two of the south coast’s largest cities Portsmouth and Southampton and is also a haven for shore fishing. The fishing in Hampshire is predominantly done in a body of water known as the Solent. The area is famed for good numbers of Codling in the winter and large numbers of good sized bass and Smoothhounds in the summer.

Sussex: The county of Sussex has long been associated with Sea fishing. This beautiful county has shore fishing locations to suit anglers of all abilities targeting any number of species. As well as the shore fishing Sussex boasts many top chartered fishing boats that fish both the inshore waters of the county and further afield.

Isle of Wight: The Isle of Wight sits in the English Channel separated from the mainland by the Solent. This is a fantastic Island with so many incredible shore fishing locations. Over the years the area has produced many specimen sized fish and with the size of the whole island not being very large it is easy to access marks at any place at any time.
