Sea Fishing Locations in Wales

Wales offers some of the UK’s finest shore and boat angling. With miles of unspoiled coastline there is a tremendous sense of adventure when fishing this magical country. From the tidal estruaries to the surf beaches Wales has every angle covered and truely is a memorable place to wet a line.

I have broken the country down to South Wales, including Pembrokeshire, and to North and West Wales. Each area will have a huge number of fishing locations to suit all anglers, all times of the year, for all sorts of fish.

South Wales:
The south coast of Wales is one of the most beautiful parts of the British coastline. From the large cities of Swansea and Cardiff to the magnificence of the Gower Peninsula there really is enough to suit all. This stretch of coastline is also one of the best kept secrets of the fishing world. From the mighty River Severn estuary to the windswept beaches of Freshwater West or the small harbours such as Tenby, this coastline has it all.

North & West Wales:
The stunning coastline of north and West Wales is as varied as it is jaw dropping. Famous for its mile upon mile of sandy unspoiled beaches, beautiful estuaries and majestic mountains   leading down to the coastline this is one of the UK’s most gorgeous stretches of coastline. For the angler the sheer diversity in the coastline means fishing can be exceptional throughout the year and for multiple species. The area is probably most famous for its Tope and bass fishing in the summer with numerous large fish caught each year.
