Summer Species: Bass, mullet, flounder, eels and sea trout

Winter Species: Flounders and eels

Bait: Peeler crab, ragworm, lugworm, lures and bread

Tactics: The bass fishing can be very good on its day here. You have two options to target the bass. The first is with bait and peeler crab is generally the bait of choice at this location mounted on a size 2/0 or 3/0 hook on a running ledger style rig. The second option is to fish with lures or flies the best time being on a flooding tide with low light conditions. Worm baits work well in the winter but tend to be easy pickings for the crabs in the summer. You can also fish course style tactics here for the mullet in the area.
